Visitors viewed the Memory Matrix, a living monument that explores the possibilities for future heritage creation. The Memory Matrix took the form of a giant screen made of border fences carrying more than 20,000 small fluorescent Plexiglas elements.
Visitors learned about the micro-sized Microwave Atmospheric Satellite (MicroMAS) and Microwave Radiometer Technology Acceleration (MiRaTa), an activity sponsored by Lincoln Laboratory.
Students from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering's MEng program taught kids the basics of structural design through skyscrapers built with toothpicks, gumdrops, and mini marshmallows.
