This display includes the Micro-sized Microwave Atmospheric Satellite (MicroMAS) and Microwave Radiometer Technology Acceleration (MiRaTa), which are passive microwave radiometers (the payload on the “microwave small satellite”) that measure the physical temperature of objects remotely and are capable of multi-band atmospheric sounding and co-located GPS radio occultation.
