Take a tour of the Space Propulsion Laboratory and explore the experimental facilities where SPL creates and tests rockets as small as a penny! These small rockets fit the needs of small satellites, as small as rubric cubes, that make access to space much more affordable. You’ll get to visit our laser micro-machining facilities, the vacuum chambers in which we test our engines (basically an experimental simulator of the space environment) and learn about how we design, build and test our tiny rockets.
