Seeing the Universe through Radio Eyes
Did you know that MIT has a world-famous radio observatory out in the far suburbs of Boston? MIT Haystack Observatory has existed for more than 50 years and conducts ground-breaking research in atmospheric science, astronomy, geodesy, informatics, and related fields. Come meet a few scientists and learn about what we study. You'll also find out what happens when you combine a 450-foot crane with the world's largest free-standing radome ("golf ball")!
