Making Books in the Renaissance and TodayFamily friendly - adult with child image.

This semester in 21H.343 “Making Books in the Renaissance and Today,” the students have been studying the impact of printing on the history of religion, cartography, and science in the Renaissance. They have also built a printing press similar to the ones used to print the great works of the Renaissance, Reformation, and Scientific Revolution from 1450-1700. Come see the students demonstrate type-setting and printing on this facsimile Renaissance printing press. You may be able to help design your own printed poster!
