Come watch bubbles rise up a 4 story column of water! Help us predict how fast bubbles will move, and then work with us to time the bubbles as they rise upwards through the water column. We will also learn about the interesting biological, chemical, and physical processes that act in lake environments and affect greenhouse gas emissions. Environmental engineers in our group study methane bubbles in Mystic Lake MA during the summer, and in the winter we use our indoor water column to continue our research.
