The event will kick off with an introductory talk by Professor Martin Zwierlein on the nature of temperature, followed by several hands-on activities and demonstrations.
Activity stations include a gum-drop model Ion Trap, a 6-foot tornado simulator, experiments with liquid nitrogen to see how ultracold temperatures change everyday objects, and a station where attendees can make their own holograms.
